Introduction
Welcome Back, Family!
I’m so glad to have you join me again. We will continue exploring the profound mysteries of God’s presence and purpose throughout history.
In our last post, The End of Time: The Revelation of the Son (Part 1), we explored the signs leading up to the End of Time. We discussed the prophetic meaning of spiritual “crumbling.” We also highlighted the call to repentance. Furthermore, it showed how the remnant signals the unfolding of the End of Time. Part 1 ends by pointing us toward the next major event: the unveiling of the Son of God.
In today’s post, we will explore how Christ’s return brings time to its final breath. It also ushers in the age of His everlasting Kingdom. Part 2 unveils the moment itself: the day when Christ is revealed in glory and all creation beholds Him.
- This is not destruction.
- This is consummation.
- This is the day when time itself bows to eternity.
Key Scriptures That Prepare Our Hearts
To ground our understanding, we begin with foundational prophetic verses:
- Isaiah 7:14-16 — The sign of Immanuel
- Isaiah 40:5 — The revelation of His glory
- Revelation 1:7 — The universal unveiling of Christ
These passages remind us that the End of Time is centred on the revelation of Jesus Christ Himself.
The Ascension: A Foreshadowing of His Return
The Mystery of the Ascension
The Ascension of Jesus Christ is a profound and sacred truth. One that reveals the supremacy of Christ and the limitation of the enemy. Though it is a difficult subject to understand, God ordained it for a divine purpose. This purpose is to show that Jesus alone has authority to rise above the earth and return to the Father’s glory.
The devil cannot imitate this. The most impossible thing for him to do is to ascend, for he cannot lift himself above God’s creation. He was cast down because of pride, not lifted up by righteousness.
“How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations.” — Isaiah 14:12
Satan’s fall proves that he has no power to rise. He cannot dwell in the clouds or be carried by them as Christ was.
“After He said this, He was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid Him from their sight.” — Acts 1:9
The ascension of Jesus marks His victory over sin, death, and the powers of darkness. It is the ultimate act that the enemy can never counterfeit. Though he has attempted false imitations and deceptive manifestations throughout history, every attempt has failed—because glory belongs to God alone.
Christ ascended not by ambition but by obedience, and He will return in the same way:
“This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven.” — Acts 1:11
Resurrection — The Awakening of Divine Life
The resurrection of Jesus is the foundation of Christian faith. Doctrinally, this is the literal rising of Christ from the dead on the third day.
Yet spiritually speaking, His resurrection also signifies the awakening of zoe. This is the divine life that flows from God into His people.
The resurrection of the Lord ushers in peace—Immanuel, “God with us.” His ascension into the clouds signifies more than an event. It is a divine revelation of who He truly is to us. He is the Messiah, the King of Kings, and our Prince of Peace. His rising into heaven is the ultimate sign of His authority over time and creation. He stands as the eternal representative of humanity before God.
At the peak of that sacred moment—the Ascension—Jesus revealed Himself as our Resurrector. He is the One who raises both body and soul into newness of life.
“Then He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. While He was blessing them, He left them and was taken up into heaven.” — Luke 24:50–51
In that moment, He departed from time and entered the timeless realm—heaven itself. Yet His departure was not an ending but a beginning. Those who saw Him ascend returned to Jerusalem—the place of worship and promise—filled with great joy. They returned to a spiritual state of restoration, to the joy of perfect love and unbroken fellowship with God.
Bethany, the place where He led them, symbolizes the land of the living; a place of renewal and faith. Through His teaching before His ascension (Luke 24:1–49), Jesus was preparing His disciples for resurrection life on earth. He taught them to walk in His Word. They learned to live the Christ-way and to embody the life of the risen Lord.
The resurrection of man begins here. It starts when we allow the risen Christ to restore us. He renews us and leads us into timeless fellowship with the Father.
“Because I live, you also will live.” — John 14:19
The Revelation of His Glory
Revelation 1:7 declares:
“Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye shall see Him.”
The revelation of the Lord’s glory will surpass every created light. The brilliance of His presence will outshine the sun, moon, and stars. The radiance of His glory will eclipse the very ambiance of the cosmos. The Lord will stand in the fullness of His majesty, and the earth will be filled with His holiness.
When His holiness covers the earth entirely, time will cease. This is in a prophetic sense, signaling that His eternal reign has begun. Time ends when His sovereignty overtakes the powers of the world. His rule then fills creation (Revelation 21:23–25; Revelation 22:5; 2 Peter 3:13). The light from the sun, moon and stars ceases for His glory to shine over the earth.
“The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.” — Revelation 21:23
The revelation of the Son to the world marks the beginning of salvation. It is the unveiling of who He is in the name of God. Though the world once rejected Him, it will soon recognize that He is the King of kings. It will also recognize that He is the Lord of lords.
So, proclaim this truth boldly. Share the mystery of Christ! Tell the world of the One who was rejected but now reigns in glory.
“The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.” — Psalm 118:22
The Resurrection of the Word is the beginning of wisdom. It awakens divine understanding in the hearts of all who receive Him.
“In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.” — John 1:4
And so, with all these truths aligned, we arrive at the final clarity: when time ends, His reign begins. The End of Time is not a collapse but a coronation.
Yet the revelation of Christ is never isolated. Whenever God reveals His Son, He also reveals His people. The End of Time brings not only the appearing of Christ. It also brings the unveiling of the sons of God.
The Revealing of the Sons of God
Jesus is coming again, and His people will live to behold His return. He is the Christ—the risen Lord whose resurrection power continues to amaze and transform. When He comes again, He will appear in the image and likeness of God. This is because He has returned to the throne of the Father. In His coming, He will reveal the fullness of the Spirit of God. The eternal Spirit exists far beyond the limits of time.
The Spirit of God is eternal—it cannot be contained within the limits of time. For His Spirit to dwell fully within us, time as we know it must give way to eternity. To share in that eternal life, man must live as a son of God.
For God to truly live in us, we must take our place as His sons and daughters. We need to reflect His likeness. We must walk in His truth and live by His Spirit. Only then can His eternal presence find a home in our hearts.
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” — Romans 8:14
To understand what it means to be God’s sons and daughters, we must return to the beginning. This is the moment God breathed life into humanity. This breath holds the secret of our identity and our eternal destiny.
The Breath of Life and God’s Eternal Nature
For God to live through us, He first transforms what is within us. He removes the influence of the world from our hearts. He fills us with His own Spirit—the Ruach (Hebrew for “breath”). This Spirit is the divine life that makes us truly alive. Scripture shows this in Genesis 2:7. God breathes His breath into Adam. It is shown again in John 20:22, where Jesus breathes the Holy Spirit onto His disciples.
This does not mean God replaces our humanity. Rather, He restores it by giving us His Spirit. This allows us to bear His likeness and walk in His ways. This is the transformative work promised in Ezekiel 36:26–27. God says, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you.”
God created man on the sixth day and then rested from all His work. Humanity was not formed until that final stage of creation, for man was the culmination of God’s creative purpose. It took time before man was made fully in the image and likeness of God. This was because man himself was still being shaped and prepared.
Time is necessary for us because we live within its boundaries. Yet in the life of God, time does not exist. He is eternal. He is beyond beginning and end. Everything He does flows from eternity into time to fulfill His divine will.
“Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” — Genesis 2:7
This divine breath becomes even more significant when we consider the day on which humanity was formed. The sixth day of creation carries a prophetic pattern. It speaks to the liberation and restoration that God planned from the beginning.
The Sixth Day: A Prophetic Picture of Liberation
If we look at creation prophetically, the sixth day represents humanity’s beginning and God’s intention for liberation. On that day, God formed man from the dust. Then He breathed His own breath of life into him (Genesis 2:7). This breath — the Ruach of God — is what distinguished man from all other creation. It marked the moment when God imparted His life, His likeness, and His purpose.
Symbolically speaking, this act was mankind’s last liberation, because God placed His life in us, not the enemy’s influence. God did not allow humanity to begin under oppression. Instead, He began our story with His breath, His image, and His authority.
In this sense, prophetically, the sixth day becomes a picture of God establishing Himself within humanity. It allows us to exist in Him, and He in us. Once God completed this act of creating and imparting life, Genesis 2:2–3 tells us He rested. He did not rest because He was tired. Instead, His work of forming humanity in His image was finished and perfect.
That rest foreshadowed the eternal rest we now have in Christ. It represents the completion of redemption and the beginning of divine fellowship.
One day, the limits of time will vanish. The world as we know it will be clothed in the glory of God. In that moment, creation will no longer reflect the corruption of the enemy. It will be fully renewed by the hand of its Creator.
“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” — Habakkuk 2:14
But even with this divine design, humanity still wrestles with seasons of clarity and seasons of hiddenness. In those moments, only the Word of God can anchor us. The End of Time will not catch the Word-filled believer unaware.
Learning God’s Word Through Every Season
It is essential to learn God’s Word and to understand the stages of life He leads us through. There are times when His presence is powerfully manifest among us, and other times when He seems hidden from view.
Just as the Word—Jesus Himself—ascended and was taken up into the clouds (Acts 1:9–11), His disciples were left gazing upward in wonder. Similarly, there are seasons in our spiritual journey when the Word seems to depart from our hearts. Yet He never truly leaves us. He returns in power and renewal, especially when the world around us lies in tatters.
“In tatters” means torn, broken, and seemingly beyond repair.
In those moments of ruin and uncertainty, His presence becomes our restoration. His Word revives what the world cannot mend.
“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of our God will stand forever.” — Isaiah 40:8
And as Scripture strengthens us, it lifts our eyes to the blessed hope: the glorious return of Jesus Christ. His return is not fragmented or symbolic—it is unified, visible, and triumphant.
The Unified Return of Christ
When Jesus ascended, His followers stood motionless, eyes lifted toward the heavens (Acts 1:9–11). In the same way, we too await His return. The End of Time will come when Christ descends once more in the fullness of His unified body. He will bring resurrection and restoration to all mankind.
In that moment, time itself will cease, and we will step into eternity under His everlasting reign.
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God… and so we will always be with the Lord.” — 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17
“And they will reign forever and ever.” — Revelation 22:5
To be unified means to be made into one—to become a single, complete body that operates in harmony. When Christ returns, He will gather His people together as one body, one faith, one family, joined perfectly in Him.
“That they may all be one, just as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You.” — John 17:21
Christ will gather His people into one unified body, fulfilling John 17:21.
Transitioning from Time to Eternity
The resurrection of man has not yet come—but when it does, it will mark the cessation of time. When the Son of God is fully revealed, He will lift humanity from the weight of sin. He will also free us from oppression. This will unveil both His identity and ours in Him.
This will be the revelation of the Son. It is the moment when all creation recognizes Him as Lord and every knee bows before His majesty.
“The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem… The Lord alone will be exalted in that day.” — Isaiah 2:1–5, 11
The ascension of the Lord is the exaltation of the Lord. It reveals His glory, His authority, and His victory over all things. But the ascension is not the moment when the whole world sees Him—it is the prophetic foreshadowing of that day. In the ascension, Jesus was lifted into the clouds, declaring His supremacy. In His return, He will come with the clouds and be revealed to every eye (Revelation 1:7).
Prophetically speaking, the ascension points to the day when Christ will rise above all things once again. This time, it will not be in concealment but in full revelation. His resurrection revealed His victory. His ascension revealed His exaltation. But His Second Coming will reveal His glory to the nations.
That day; the day when all people finally see Him and know He is Lord—
is the End of Time.
It is the moment when the world enters the fullness of His reign. His Kingdom makes all things perfect and new.
When that day comes, we will transition from time into eternity. We will leave behind the boundaries of days and years to dwell forever in His presence. In that eternal reality, time will no longer govern life; the glory of God will.
“And there shall be no night there… for the Lord God will give them light, and they shall reign forever and ever.” — Revelation 22:5
But defining the End of Time is not enough. We must understand what comes next—how creation transitions from time into eternity, from limitation into everlasting life.
The Messianic Kingdom: A World Made New
The Restoration of All Things
The word to remember is Haven—a refuge, a holy dwelling, the eternal home prepared for God’s children. The Lord is with us! We are in a divine transition. We are moving from time into eternity, from struggle into glory.
“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth… and the dwelling of God is with men.” — Revelation 21:1–3
Revelation 21 and 22 reveal what follows:
- A new heaven
- A new earth
- A world without death
- A world without sorrow
- A Kingdom ruled by Christ forever
This is the true “Promised Land”— the Haven prepared for His people.
It is the world as God intended it: full of peace, glory, and unending light.
“For the Lord will be our everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end.” — Isaiah 60:20
In the end, everything will cease to exist as we know it. We will dwell in His Kingdom under His perfect rulership—the Messianic Kingdom. Time will come to an end for mankind. This marks the completion of this world and the beginning of the eternal one.
This will prophetically mark the great transition. It is the passage from a world of chaos into a land flowing with milk and honey. Though the process may be turbulent, the outcome will be glorious. We will rejoice in the beauty of this new reality, living in His majesty’s palace, surrounded by everlasting peace.
The laws of wickedness, hatred, and corruption will vanish forever, replaced by divine order and love. We will finally enter our true home. It is a place of peace, rest, and tranquility. The Lord Himself reigns among His people there.
That transition culminates in the restoration of all things. It leads to a renewed heaven, a renewed earth, and a renewed people who dwell with God forever.
Simple Summary for Beginners
The End of Time is not about the world being destroyed—it’s about Jesus being fully revealed to the whole earth. It is the moment when Christ returns, His glory fills creation, and time itself gives way to eternity.
The Bible teaches that the enemy tries to imitate God. However, he cannot copy Christ’s glory. This is especially true for the resurrection and ascension. Only Jesus can rise, rule, and return.
When Jesus ascended into heaven, it showed two big truths:
- He is God, exalted above all creation.
- He will return in the same way He left.
The end of time happens when the world is in chaos and darkness—when people are spiritually blind. Then Jesus will reveal Himself again. At that moment, time stops and God’s eternal kingdom begins.
Only a faithful remnant of believers will return to God during these last days. This returning is part of the End of Time—when hearts turn back to Jesus as their first love.
When Christ returns, all creation will see His glory. The sun, moon, and stars will no longer be needed because His light will fill everything. This is the beginning of the eternal kingdom—a place of peace, holiness, and God’s presence forever.
The End of Time is not something to fear. It is the beginning of forever with Jesus.
